Our firm has acted for FONCIERE ATLAND in the five-year partnership agreement they have entered into with VEOLIA TRANSPORT in October 2008 in relation to the sale and leaseback and the development of sites operated or to be operated by the latter.

Our firm has also acted for FONCIERE ATLAND in the implementation of this partnership agreement.

The first set of operating sites concerned by the transfer are those located in Abbeville (80), Alençon (61), Châtellerault (86), Epinal (88), Le Mans (72), Noyon (60) and Vernon.

This transaction has been entered into under the condition precedent of the execution of investor leases with a minimum twelve-year term. The investment has amounted to about €11.6 millions. It has been financed with existing cash and with financial leases granted by FORTIS LEASE and ING LEASE.

VEOLIA TRANSPORT is the most important private operator of public transport in Europe and the United States of America. FONCIERE ATLAND is a property investment company listed on the Euronext Paris Eurolist stock market (French SIIC).
